Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Simple Scrum Tools (“SST”, “the service”), operated by Strategic Move (“we”, “us”). By accessing or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

SST is a cloud Scrum project-management suite — including backlogs, sprints, boards, standups, reporting, and integrations with agentic coding tools. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

• You sign in through a third-party identity provider (GitHub or Google) and are responsible for maintaining the security of that account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and within workspaces you administer.
• You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction and able to form a binding contract, and you must use the service in compliance with all applicable laws.

You agree not to:

• use the service for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, other accounts, or its underlying systems, or disrupt its integrity or performance;
• reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the service except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law;
• upload content that infringes others’ rights or violates any law.

You retain ownership of the content you create or upload (workspaces, projects, backlog items, standups, and similar data). You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, and display that content solely as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. You are responsible for your content and for having the rights to use it.

The service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by Strategic Move and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service; no other rights are granted.

Some features may be offered under paid plans or usage quotas. Where fees apply, they will be described before you incur them. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We may change pricing prospectively with reasonable notice.

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, and we disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service, in whole or in part, at any time.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Strategic Move will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim (or, if you paid nothing, USD $100).

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service or its users. On termination, your right to use the service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by notice within the service. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in Washington, USA will have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
