Privacy Policy

Overview
Simple Scrum Tools (“SST”, “we”, “us”) is a cloud Scrum project-management suite operated by Strategic Move. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the service you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name and email address, provided by the identity provider you sign in with (GitHub or Google).
- Content you create — workspaces, projects, backlog items, sprints, standups, comments, and similar data you enter into the service.
- Usage & technical data — log and diagnostic information generated as you use the service (e.g. requests, timestamps, errors).
- Agent & usage metrics — token-usage and cost data reported by connected agents and tooling, used for reporting within your workspace.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- provide, operate, secure, and maintain the service;
- authenticate you and enforce workspace access and tenant isolation;
- improve the service internally — including analytics, debugging, reliability, and product development. We may analyze usage to understand how the service is used and to make it better.
We do not share your data with third parties
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data or content with third parties for their own purposes, and we do not use it for third-party advertising. Your data is used only to operate and improve the service, as described above.
To run the service we rely on a small number of essential infrastructure providers (for example, cloud hosting and database hosting) that process data strictly on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations, and only as needed to deliver the service. When you choose to sign in with GitHub or Google, that provider authenticates you under its own privacy policy. We disclose data only where required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the security of the service.
Data retention
We retain your account information and content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see “Your choices”). We may retain limited records where required for legal, security, or accounting purposes.
Security
We apply industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit (TLS), least-privilege database access, and row-level isolation between workspaces. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to limit access to it.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or ask questions about this policy, by contacting us at [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by notice within the service.
