What counts as a seat
A seat is one member of your organization, and that includes you. A pending invitation uses no seat. The seat count goes up when a person accepts an invitation, and down when an administrator removes a member.

Questions
- What happens when we reach a limit?
- The product refuses only the next portfolio, project, Scrum Team or member. Nothing is deleted and nothing is locked. An organization over a limit keeps everything it has. It cannot grow past the limit until it makes room. See Plans and billing.
- Where do ads appear on the Free plan?
- In one slot, at the bottom of two screens: the organization overview and the project screen. No ad appears on the backlog, the planning screen, the board, the Sprint Review, the Retrospective or an administration screen. Until you answer the consent banner, and after you decline, the slot shows a notice from SimpleScrumTools itself and no ad vendor script loads. Pro and Enterprise show no ads. See Ads and cookies.
- When can we buy Pro or Enterprise?
- Not yet. They are coming soon. Until then every organization you create is on Free, and nothing is billed. If you need more room now, write to us.
- Can I try it before I sign up?
- Yes. Open the live demo. Its organization is on Pro, so that it can show several projects and teams. Nothing is billed for it.
